The Illinois Lincoln Highway Coalition has installed murals in communities all along the Lincoln Highway Route depicting stories of interest and of national significance to the idea of travel by car throughout the country.  Rock Falls received it's mural in August of 2010.  It depicts a real photograph postcard from the "Rock Falls Corn Carnival".  Here farmers would bring their produce to town and decorate buildings during the harvest  with ears of corn, even the cars got decorated.  !
