The year 1922 saw the opening of the New Dixon Theatre, which was thought to be one of the Midwest's most beautiful "show houses". Visitors may now again enjoy the results of the extensive restoration, done through the efforts of volunteers and with community support.  This historic site has become a show place for the performing arts!
