This modest church was dedicated on April 4, 1903 by the Rev. J. Fred Jones, Secretary of the Christian Church organization. Rev. Jones also delivered the sermon that day. The total cost of the building was $3800 dollars.The first pastor was Reverend Cash. Ronald Wilson Reagan and his mother Nelle attended this church while living in Tampico.

This is still an operating house of worship.
