Throughout the Midwest, historians are lamenting the disappearance of barns.  The sentimental response to the plight of dying barns goes beyond the rustic appeal of the architecture.  A barn is the most easily identifiable feature of early American farms.  As such it is symbolic of a way of life rapidly disappearing from the American landscape.

Tour is scheduled for second weekend in July 2013.  Check back for more details.
