Located at 106 Avenue A, Sterling, IL, The Twin City Market (“TCM”) began as a project of the Northwest Illinois Ag Coalition and began operations as a farmers’ market in July 2005 after the generous contribution of a location and funding from the City of Sterling, Illinois.
Located inside the historic Twin City Produce Co. building at 106 Avenue A in downtown Sterling, the TCM is open year round, EVERY SATURDAY from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and also features a licensed commercial kitchen.
Purchase some of the region's freshest produce at the Rock Falls Farmer's Market. This market is organized by the Rock Falls Chamber office and takes place two times a week at the municipal parking lot adjacent to the Firehouse Fire Museum in the Uptown Rock Falls District. The RF Farmer's Market runs from 8:00am to 11:00am on Wednesday and 8:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays - (Spring Thru Fall).
Main Street Music Fest returns for its 6th year at the historic Grandon Civic Center in Central Memorial Park, Downtown Sterling on Saturday, July 22rd.Gates open at 1:00 p.m. for this all ages festival. First band starts at 2:00 p.m. 12 and under are FREE; Just $5 for ages 13 to 103! Food and beverage will be available for purchase on the grounds. No outside food or beverage permitted. No animals. Folding chairs and blankets may be brought in. Featuring a wide variety of food vendors onsite and adult beverages from G&M Distributors. Children's activities, artists and more!
